ABOUT MOOGENILLA
GENERATIONS OF QUALITY BACKED BY MODERN TECHNIQUES
Moogenilla Angus was established by the Wrigley Family in 1991, 34 years ago. Initially the goal was to breed quality bulls for our own commercial Angus herd. Older, proven registered females were selected from a number of respected herds and a full AI program was commenced immediately. We now AI 250 registered cows every year to the best Australian and overseas sires we can identify.
In 2010 we added an annual Auction Sale to our on-farm bull selling program. We sell 50 bulls at Auction on the first Friday in August in Forbes. We also sell 40 to 50 bulls on farm throughout the year.
Moogenilla (pronounced Moo–gen–illa) is the name of a trig station hill on our property 50km north of Condobolin.
Paul Sinderberry and Sarah Wrigley run Moogenilla Angus as a family operation with the help of our daughters Emily and Madeline, and Brett Stockman.

Our bulls are bred for performance, longevity, and adaptability, with a focus on fertility, docility, and carcase quality. They are raised in extensive pastoral conditions, ensuring they’re ready to work in any environment.
-
We use a combination of elite AI sires and proven homebred bulls like Moogenilla Quinella Q33, ensuring top-tier growth, muscle, and maternal traits.
-
Our bulls are pasture-raised, structurally assessed, semen-tested, and fully vaccinated under the Immune Ready program. They are raised in a commercial environment and are not overfed, ensuring they transition smoothly into your herd.
-
We recommend looking at EBVs, structure, and temperament to match your breeding goals. Feel free to contact us for advice or book a pre-sale inspection.

Health, Genetics & Performance

We’re committed to long-term client success. Whether it’s bull management, nutrition advice, or follow-up inquiries, we’re always here to help.
-
Please be aware these young bulls have been run in a large group, in large paddocks, all their lives. Ensure you settle a bull in with other cattle, being alone is stressful for herd animals. A bull is most likely to develop a condition, infection or injury that causes infertility AFTER the joining period has started. Observe your new bull and observe your females for excessive cycling activity towards the end of joining. Pregnancy test your females at the earliest suitable time to identify any problems as soon as possible.
-
While we don’t directly purchase cattle, we can help connect buyers and sellers looking for Moogenilla-bred females or steer lines.
After-Purchase Support & Advice
